I've been peering through my binoculars now for a few hours -- you wouldn't believe how much doesn't happen at a set -- and am now almost certain that it's the set of X-Files. Indicators: just two actors, one rather tall man and a short, small woman with red hair. That appears to be short, though, and I had heard Gillian's hair is long right now, but who knows?

Well, ok, they are currently filming on Deadman's Island, on the grounds of HMCS Discovery. This could be reached from Stanley Park, but you might have a better view from Cardero Park, which is just off the Westin Bayshore. There's a helicopter involved and it looks like they still might stay a while, at least until the end of the day. (One never knows, though, since they break up sets in record braking times.)
